Some random tidbits of information about me: Married since 2004 to my amazing wife. Born in 1981, living in Toledo, Ohio. Have a rad little girl who was born in August of 2010. My favorite things in life are family, friends, doing life with both, love, creativity, authenticity, hope, music, and being a coffee and food snob.

    Trotter Family

    Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

Another family I had the honor of spending some time with while in Oregon is the Trotter family. They are actually residents of Redding, California, but made the three hour trip up to Medford where I was staying to get some pictures done. We went to a couple locations in and around Medford, and I at least had a really great morning spending time with the family and taking some pictures. Below you’ll find a few of my favorites from their shoot.

    Buchanan Family

    Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

The Buchanan’s are another family I had the pleasure of meeting while spending time out in Oregon recently. They were one of four photo shoots I did in the two days I was in Southern Oregon, and they are a family full of rockstars! I had a blast doing their shoot, and an even better time getting to know them. I am eagerly anticipating the next time our paths cross. Here are some of my favorites from their shoot.

    Steph – Just for Fun

    Monday, August 10th, 2009

While in Portland I had the opportunity to meet Steph. She’s a very close friend of the Clayville family, and after some initial prodding by Jenni, Steph decided she wanted some pictures taken while I was out there. It was already a plan that Jenni, Steph and I would take Gregg, Sandy and Dylan (their first time in the PNW) on a little sight seeing tour up a scenic road along the Columbia Gorge, so basically any time we stopped to show the Hart family some pretty site Steph and I would get some photos in. This shoot was a lot of fun for me, very relaxed, and I am quite happy with how the pictures turned out. Here are just a few of my favorites.

    Clayville Family

    Monday, August 10th, 2009

I recently had the very real honor and pleasure of spending a week and a half living in Portland with Brian and Jenni Clayville and their two awesome kids, Chance and Paxton. They are some friends of mine I had met originally through twitter and mutual friends (whom I had also met on Twitter, ha!), and when I booked a wedding in Bend, OR, it wasn’t even up for discussion on where I would be staying. Within an hour of announcing on twitter I was coming back out to the Pacific Northwest I received a message from Jenni and Brian saying I had a place to stay with them if I wanted it. One of the few things I love more than photography is people, specifically meeting, breaking bread with, and just enjoying the company of new people, so of course I took advantage of their incredible hospitality. I figured the least I could do in repayment was to do a photo shoot for their family. So all that said, here are just a few of my favorites from their session (which spanned a couple of days).
