Foo first contacted me in January, and I have to say it was a nice surprise. Foo and Aimee live in LA, and had met a couple Gregg and I did engagement pictures for in Ann Arbor (Michigan) in 2009 but also live in LA, who recommended LGP. From the first few conversations with Foo I knew it would be a great fit for both of us. He and Aimee both sounded like a riot, and are definitely the kind of people Gregg and I love to work with!
So when the wedding day finally arrived in May, I was pumped to finally get to spend some time with them. Our time together started the day before the wedding when I met Foo and Aimee for the first time to take some formal pictures of them in traditional Korean and Vietnamese wedding outfits! Total win for me =). Then, during the reception I was witness to one of the greatest first dances I’ve ever seen… a full-on choreographed number set to a mash-up of songs that included “My Heart Will Go On” and “Poker Face” =).
