Jamie and Jared kicked off a relentlessly busy week and a half back in Ohio for me. What an excellent way to start though! Totally rad couple in a very rad location. Gregg and I had a ton of fun shooting with them, even though at times working around the crazy schedule-keeping-people at the venue was challenging =). Also… best cake toppers, ever.

On my most recent trip to Ohio I had the chance to take some family photos for Jess, Jason and their new daughter Maci. This was a huge honor for me, because Jess and Jason were my VERY FIRST portrait clients ever. I rocked a shoot with them at Side Cut Metro Park nearly four years ago, and quite frankly I look back at those photos now and am shocked =). So when Jason called and asked if I’d be up for doing some photos with their new baby girl, I jumped at the chance.

That said, I don’t do a lot of pictures of babies. Matter of fact, this was my first time for people who aren’t my family. I doubt I’ll ever be a full-time baby photographer, but it certainly was fun. Maci is a beautiful baby girl and she was easy to photograph. And, on a personal note… seeing Jess and Jason with Maci made me even more excited (if that was possible) about the arrival of my little girl in a couple months. Seeing Jason interact with his daughter especially… man, I can’t wait!
