My little girl was just six weeks old, and to be honest leading up to STORY I was kind of wishing I hadn’t already made a commitment to go. We just finished an epic move back from New Mexico to Ohio, and the last thing I wanted to do was have to leave my family for three days. But, I made a commitment to be there and photograph the event for the second year in a row so backing out, especially this late, was no longer an option.

To be honest, I’m about as giddy as one can possibly be and still retain their man card that I went. STORY 2009 was great, but STORY 2010 absolutely blew it out of the water. Life changing, inspiring, career changing, they just aren’t strong enough terms. Some of the technology was the coolest I’ve ever seen, the moments in worship were heart moving, and the people were all amazing.

I could write a big long post rehashing my thoughts on every speaker, but to be honest Tim Schraeder already did an amazing “appendix” post on the conference that is more than enough information for anyone who wants to know what happened. Alece, Mandy and Todd were all great to be with, and I look forward to seeing them again soon!
